An alleyway in an older neighborhood of San Francisco. The effects are a combination of Hipstamatic lens processing and strong sunlight.

There is actually very little editing in this case. This is how it came out from the Hipstamatic iPhone app :)

Cool effect. I love the struggling tree at the end. Charming neighborhood alleys in the big city are a great find.

Almost looks like a fire! (wink wink)

Actually, I think the soft pink adds a bit of a poetic tone to what might otherwise be a somewhat harsh landscape.

We indeed were safe from the fire, although others were not as fortunate. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families.

That is a great picture with all those wonderful reds. Is it sunset or sunrise. My guess is sunset. Anyway it is great.

It looks like a rainbow and sunlight are streaming into this alley.

Hahahahaha!!!! That picture really looks like pictures taken many years ago with cheap cameras :)
I had one with similar results! Of all the Hipstamatic pis you show, this one most reminds me of how bad those cameras really were.
    Thanks for the memory ;)

The narrow street reminds me of Europe. Interesting colour and shading.
