  1. Another image from my 2005 trip to Barcelona. La Sagrada Familia is the famous GaudΓ church that symbolizes the city.

As I have said in the past, I could fill up a year of Wordless Wednesdays with photos from Barcelona, rich as it is in art and architecture that speaks to me.

  2. I agree that Barcelona is a very special place with many treats for the eyes. This is a bit of a different view of this cathedral. I like it (the shot — and the cathedral!) Happy WW, and thanks for stopping by.

  3. Barcelona full of beautiful places to take photos… but I have not taken this kind of pic this high. Thanks for passing by at mine…

  4. Beautiful! It's a shame they don't make churches and buildings like that anymore. Thank you for sharing.

  5. Never been there but that looks AWESUME! Looks like you could se so much ..with out being seen at all…Very Cool, Thanks for dropping by my little spot in the Universe!

  6. What gorgeous spires. The inside must be stunning. How many millions have been spent on churches throughout the world . . .

  7. Barcelona is on our list of places to go. We have been all over Spain a couple of times, once we drove with stops along the way from Bayonne, France to Gibraltar and over to Alicante, then back north to Albecete, and eventually to fly out at Madrid.
Glad you liked our walk along the pretty spring scenery. πŸ™‚
    Happy WW!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Dear son's favorite critter is a black panther- so that is what we painted his face πŸ˜‰

  9. Absolutely gorgeous view. Wishing I was in Spain…even if i did just get home from vacation. Sigh…maybe some daya. Thanks for sharing!

  10. Gaudi is one of my favourite architects and I love how the new architects who have been working on this church more recently have added their own touches.
