This photograph was taken at the Hunters Point Shipyard in San Francisco, a location home to a former naval shipyard, old industrial buildings, toxic cleanup sites, and a large number of artists’ studios.
It was around sunset time, and the moon had already risen. This scene with a pillar rising in front of the shipyard’s icon crane and pointing to the moon seemed like an ideal composition.

It looks like the pole is pointing straight up to the moon. I have never been to this area. Looks like a cool place for photos.
It looks so great, but also a little scary! Like it should be the front cover of a Stephen King book or something!
