Wordless Wednesday: 8500 (Waving from the wall)

As usual, info about this photo is in the comments.

I did want to invite regular WW visitors to check out a review of a photography exhibit I wrote yesterday.  It’s anything but wordless, but it might be interesting to those who visit for the photography.

  1. When the pipes are combined with some of the graffiti elements on the wall, I noticed a figure waving playfully at the viewer. It’s abstract, but it’s there.

This photo was taken in an industrial yard in the southeast of San Francisco, not far from the doll photo featured last week.

  2. That is an interesting picture. It looks like a hand to us too looking over at the graffiti. Take care.

  3. Like most people said, it does look like the pipes are peeping out over the edge. I wonder how long they have been there seeing that they are all rusted. What’s the “figure” waving? Perhaps the web wavering in the wind?

Yes, those are JBs in my post to make those mosaic portraits. You can see them at the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield, CA.

  4. Very interesting play with lines and curves. I must confess though, when I first saw the title and was waiting for the photo to load, I expected to see the doll posed and waving… 🙂

  5. Happy WW!

It’s interesting how different angles can give different perspectives and how they can promote a person’s creativity in what (s)he sees.
